The bus is a Daimler Fleetline. It’s chassis code CRL6 denotes that as built it was fitted with a Leyland 0.680 engine of 11.1 litres. CRL6 stands for Commercial Leyland Rear 6. The engine is in the rear and has 6 cylinders. It’s chassis number is 65430. The chassis is built and then another firm would build the body. Ours was built in Lowestoft by the Eastern Coachworks company. Body Number 19708. Starting out life with 45 seats upstairs and 20 downstairs, with 2 doors, one at the front and another in the middle.
